Coal scrip can be found at flea markets, coin shops, or the spring and fall shows of the National Scrip Collectors Association. Most sales are on eBay, and the following list has some prices from the fall of 2024.
Some pieces have a Rarity rating. R1 is very common, with perhaps 200 or more pieces known to exist. these are priced in the $5 to $20 range. R10 tokens are very rare, with perhaps 1 to 3 pieces known. They sometimes sell for $200 or so, with some costing $1000 or more.
